The facility is dedicated to supporting the children of ready-made garment (RMG) workers through Kumon Connect, a tablet-based self-learning program delivered via iPads. During the visit, delegates observed students confidently solving Math worksheets, showcasing how access to quality education can help unlock potential and transform lives.

The visit included a presentation on Joyjatra’s journey and impact, conversations with factory workers — the proud parents of the young learners — and live observations of Kumon sessions. Discussions also explored values, scalability, and the long-term vision for the project.

Delegates expressed strong appreciation for the initiative, with JETRO announcing plans to feature an article about Joyjatra on its official website, highlighting its role in fostering education and collaboration in Bangladesh’s RMG sector.
